From January to March, the company “Je2scène”, in partnership with the town hall of Saint-Félix-Lauragais, offers a series of shows and activities as part of the “Les mots dans l’Autan” event.
A gourmet evening
On Saturday January 11, the season will open with two shows at the Château de Saint-Félix. At 7 p.m., “Fantaisies Gourmandes” will stage a series of sketches inspired by flavors and words, with texts by Jeannine Worms and other authors. At 9 p.m., it’s time for “What are semicolons used for”, a play by Serge Papagalli where two characters question the meaning of their meeting. A soup tasting will be organized between the two performances.
Several meetings to come
On January 25 at 9 p.m., the company “Les changing rooms of girls” will present “2 Follies in False Pretences”, an offbeat comedy around the improbable meeting between two women in a psychiatric waiting room. This show was awarded an award at the Printemps du Rire in Toulouse in 2023. On February 8, SP2 students from the Toulouse regional theater conservatory will host a cabaret theater during a free performance. On February 15, the company “La Réplique” will perform “Diplomatie”, a breathtaking behind closed doors by Cyril Gély on the critical hours which decided the fate of Paris in August 1944. The program will continue until March with “Les toréadors” , a scathing social comedy by Jean-Marie Piemme, presented by “Je2scène” on March 1, and a theater workshop which will be held on March 29 and 30 March.
