From this Tuesday to Thursday January 9, Narbonne welcomes the new edition of Region(s) in Occitanie Scene, for the 2nd consecutive year, organized by the Pyramid network. This annual meeting brings together performing arts professionals, programmers and artists to promote the richness and diversity of creation in Occitania.
The 2024 edition, organized in various cultural facilities in Narbonne, had already attracted more than 1,500 spectators including 196 entertainment professionals, i.e. 131 cultural structures from 16 departments.
A program of 18 shows, representing a wide artistic palette (theater, dance, circus, puppets, Music), highlighted the talents of the region. The programmers present, from 16 departments, were able to discover 64 artists and technicians on stage. This meeting allowed six companies from Occitanie to present their show at the Festival du Chainon Manquant in Laval last September: an exceptional opportunity to promote their work in front of more than 700 programmers from all over France and more than 19,000 spectators.

The 2025 edition, the inauguration of which will take place this Tuesday, January 7, 2025 in the evening, will have the theme of diversity, creation and professional meetings. Region(s) in Scene will renew the experience in Narbonne and will offer a selection of original shows reflecting regional creation in its multiple artistic forms. Participants will be able to attend a variety of performances for all audiences, from circus to theater, including dance and music. This highlight, intended to encourage new creations, will also include Room for creationsorganized in collaboration with the Interdepartmental Platform of Living Arts of Occitanie, which will present five projects from local companies.
