What the critics say

Nabil Ayouch takes us into a thrilling and uncompromising story. A story whose vitality and urgency owe a lot to the performance of Nisrin Erradi who, at the heart of each scene, embodies Touda with breathtaking energy. (Olivier De Bruyn for Les Echos)

Nisrin Erradi, who plays Touda, is extraordinary in every second of the film, to which she contributes and gave enormously. (Olivier Lamm for Libération)

The strength of the film lies in its abrupt and sensual staging of music and dance. (Ariel Schweitzer for Les Cahiers du Cinéma)
