If there is one theater company that is starting the year with a bang, it is the Grand Baz’Art. Meeting with enthusiasts!
For several weeks, they have been meeting occasionally, mainly in the room of the Villegusien rural center, for full days of rehearsal. They, these are the six members of the troupe placed under the watchful eye of their professional director Sylvain Chiarelli.
And if the sessions intensify, it is because the first performance will take place from this Saturday January 12 in Heuilley-Cotton. However, no (or little!) stress, everyone already has a long experience of theater.
Four “elders” and two young people
Indeed, two years ago, the famous troupe of the Joyeuse Compagnie, led by the charismatic Annick Doucey, ceased its activities, after several decades of intense activity, both in the field of theater than in the glittering world of cabaret.
For most of its members, and especially the actors, there was no question of giving up the stage. So, four of them came together to found the Compagnie du Grand Baz’Art.
After a successful first season, they are preparing to return to the stage.
