A destructive love square will soon be at the heart of Against youon the stage of the Théâtre Duceppe. Isabelle Blais, David Boutin, Inès Defosse and Alice Pascual will star in this adaptation of the British play Closerbrought to the cinema in 2004.

His last wife
After having mounted The Last Wife at the Centaur Theater, Eda Holmes repeats the exercise for her French version. This time, it is Marie-Pier Labrecque and Henri Chassé who will slip into the shoes of Kate Parr and Henry VIII for His last wifea story of ambition and female emancipation intended for the Théâtre du Rideau Vert.

Pride and prejudice
This umpteenth incarnation of Jane Austen’s work has a (very) solid cast: Caroline Bélanger, Thomas Derasp-Verge, Sandrine Bisson, Marie-Pier Labrecque, Félix Lahaye and Philippe Thibault-Denis are just some of the performers who will carry this new transformation of the classic Pride and prejudice.

Dear Parents
Virginie Fortin will take her first steps in the theater this spring; she will be surrounded by Josée Deschênes, Luc Senay, Simon Beaulé-Bulman and Steve Gagnon in the Quebec version of Dear Parents, piece still attracting crowds in Paris, three years after its creation.

Othello
For his very first production intended for the stages of the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, Didier Lucien chose to tackle a monument: Othello. Actor Rodley Pitt will step into the shoes of the title character for this new adaptation of the Shakespeare classic from the pen of Jean Marc Dalpé.

The 39 steps
Building on the success of BroueBenoît Brière, Martin Drainville and Luc Guérin will find themselves on the stage again next summer. The trio will be accompanied by Évelyne Rompré for The 39 stepspolice comedy inspired by the Alfred Hitchcock film.

Janette
The Théâtre Duceppe offers Janette Bertrand a major gift to celebrate her centenary: a play telling the story of her life. And it is none other than Guylaine Tremblay who will be responsible for embodying the great lady of letters on the stage, surrounded by Normand Chouinard and Cynthia Wu-Maheux, among others.

Les Boys

After the films and the TV series, the saga Les Boys will soon have a third life in the theater. Emmanuel Bilodeau, Louis Champagne and David Savard will headline the show bringing the legendary characters Stan, Méo and Bob back to life on stage next summer.

Dracula: a comedy of terrors

The most famous vampire will arrive at TOHU next September with the first French-language version of the successful play. On the menu: humor and horror, but in a flamboyant and queer atmosphere.
