The restaurant “Au P’tit Marché by Mélanie”, in the village ofArbis-Porte-de-Benauge (Gironde), in Entre-deux-Mers, has just expanded: a room on the ground floor (open since the beginning of March 2023) which can accommodate 17 people and a room on the first floor (open at the beginning of December 2024) which can also accommodate 17 people.

The restaurant staff is made up of Jordan, Romane, Dorine and Mélanie: two in the kitchen and two for service.

Mélanie Favart, the owner, is the granddaughter of Jeanine and Roland Favart. She is there fourth generation of grocers.

The complete formula

Cooking based on local products for vegetables depends on the season. On December 11, 2024, the complete menu of the day was available 18,90 euros (on site and to take away).

The restaurant is open to mididuring the week, from Monday to Friday, and on Friday eveningbut not during the weekend.

Grocery store, pizzas and tavern

Remember that, in the “Au P’tit Marché” premises, we find a grocery store (with certain raw materials for dishes from the restaurant menu), a Mondial-Relay internet parcel depot, and every Thursday our newspaper The South-Gironde Republican.

In front of the building there is a pizza vending machine (prepared in the restaurant’s kitchen) and a tavern (“The Guinguette”) open in fine weather.
