For the ninth year, Agir Ensemble pour Défier la Solitude welcomed its guests around a warm meal in a festive atmosphere, on December 24, 2024 at the village hall of Ladevèze-Ville. Benefiting from the superb decor put in place by the municipality, the creative leisure and entertainment workshop completed the decoration of the tables. Behind the stove and in the dishwasher, the volunteers outdid themselves to concoct a menu with ingredients from local producers and traders, thanks in particular to the proceeds from the sale of cakes, jams, mulled wine and soups on the Plaisance market, and support from the Fondation de France. Beneficiaries (some of whom came in a carpool offered by the association) and volunteers were able to enjoy the Jerusalem artichoke soup with foie gras and vegetables from the Ormeau shared garden, concocted by the soup workshop team, in a friendly atmosphere. which meets on Monday afternoons. Kefir and apple juice, from AEDS harvests, were also offered. The collection of pots and jars (more than a ton in 2024) enabled the distribution of New Year’s Eve surplus to participants. The atmosphere was provided by Croque Lune and his barrel organ, alongside guest singers. AEDS will meet to share the traditional galette des rois on Saturday January 11 at 4 p.m. The location will be specified later.
