After a hectic end-of-year evening in 2024 and a few days of closure that quickly passed, the associative café Au Terminus des Prétentieux will resume its free activities open to all from Wednesday January 7.
Like every Wednesday (except school holidays), the Parents’ Café will meet from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and the language workshops (Italian/Spanish) from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. (by reservation). Traditional games (cards and dice) will take over from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., then board games from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Tuesday January 14 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., the monthly session of the film club will offer “a great classic” having something in common with Le Terminus des Prétentieux: “Le Clan des Siciliens”.
“Terminus Thursdays”, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., are dedicated to moments of shared conviviality, with, once a month, a guest musical group and a small meal, upon reservation. So, Thursday January 23the group The Eighties will cover the great hits of the 80s.
On Fridays, the Terminus broadcasts live on the big screen the matches of the Colomiers Rugby team when they play away. This will be the case, Friday January 10 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., for Valence Romans / Colomiers Rugby and Friday 24 for Béziers / Colomiers Rugby.
One Friday a month, Karaoke enthusiasts meet from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. to share their hobby. An appointment is given to them Friday January 31.
On Saturdays, every two weeks, a “solidarity sewing” workshop (by hand or with a machine) welcomes beginners, amateurs and experienced people from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. for exchanges and sharing of know-how. Appointment, Saturday January 11 for the first session of the year.
Also on Saturday, by appointment, a “Computer Science” workshop allows you to take your first steps or resolve more difficult problems. It will take place, Saturday January 18 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., and will as always be followed by a solidarity workshop “DIY and tidying up the Terminus”, where everyone can make their contribution to the life and maintenance of the place.
