The year 2025 is off to a flying start for the historic film team Arlempdes, the legend of the first castle of the Loirefilmed in Haute-Loire! The Reims international film festival, the Red Movie Awards (Reims excellence directors) has just awarded two prizes to the feature film by the two directors and actors, Marina Golenko and Titouan Monnier.
The costumes of the King of the Bird rewarded
The jury was first attracted by the landscapes of Haute-Loire, captured with a drone. The images of Pierre Vasseur and Heimana Despinoy were rewarded by the price of the best drone plans.
The period outfits of the association of the King of the Bird, of the Ponote Françoise Gallant, of Artias Armurerie in Coubon and of Velay Création in Puy were distinguished by the best costume awards.
The RED Movie Awards is an international festival of short and feature films, which takes place every year in May. This year, the jury will reward 36 categories and is made up of big names in French and foreign cinema such as Bernard Farcy (Taxi), Bruno Solo, Lee Arenberg and Kelly McNally (Pirates of the Caribbean) and Bruno Choël, French voice by Johnny Depp.
Other prizes to collect in May
Nominated in ten different categories, the teams ofArlempdes are delighted to have already obtained two distinctions. Thanks to these two awards, the film team will travel to Reims from May 23 to 25.
They will try to win a new prize in the following categories: Best Costumes; best action film; best actor (Titouan Monnier); best supporting actor (Basile Bibard); best supporting actress (Maelia Ruiz); best drone shots; best makeup; best poster; best trailer and best ensemble (entire cast).
“It’s a great highlight and already a great victory which is materialized with these two prizes. We are therefore winners in drone and costume and will be in competition again, in May in Reims, to try to beat the winners of the editions previous, facing the same prestigious Jury, who has not finished hearing about the film and the Haute-Loire”, reacted the two directors and actors, Marina Golenko and Titouan Monnier.
New screenings in Haute-Loire
From January 8, the film is again programmed at the Grenette cinema in Yssingeaux, and at the Monistrol-sur-Loire cinema.
On January 25, 26 and 27, it will be screened at the Aurec-sur-Loire cinema, on the 25th and 27th in the presence of the film crew.
Elsewhere, other cities are added like Grenoble in January, Lyon again in February (Les Alizées cinema in Bron on the 2nd), then will come Toulouse, Brittany, Haute-Savoie…
“The film is planned to be screened until at least spring,” confide Marina Golenko and Titouan Monnier.
