VIDEO. Big discomfort in “Don’t forget the lyrics”: “That’s enough”, Nagui interrupts a song by Slimane

This Monday, December 30, Nagui presented a new episode of his famous musical show “Don’t forget the lyrics” on France 2. During the game, Maestro Benoît had to choose the theme on which he was going to face his challenger Laura. The candidate chose the 50-point one called “Paname or Pan Am”, without knowing what titles were hidden behind it. The candidates and the host then discovered the two songs proposed: “Nuit sauvage”, the 80s hit from the group Les Avions and “Paname”, Slimane’s first success.

Nagui then enthusiastically launched an extract from “Nuit sauvage”, but was more uncomfortable with Slimane's title. The host therefore quickly interrupted him. “There, that’s enough.”, he said on set. A reaction that surprised the Maestro. “You don’t like him?“, he asked her for cash. “We will let others decide in any case what to think“, Nagui then replied. But that didn't discourage Benoît. “I'm going to take Paname”, he announced, somewhat embarrassed. “Very good, when you sing it, that suits me”insisted Nagui.

Slimane accused of “sexual harassment” and “sexual assault” by two technicians on his tour

The host's remarks towards Slimane take place in a particular context. The singer is targeted by two complaints for “sexual harassment” and “sexual assault and attempted sexual assault”. A first complaint for sexual harassment was filed against the winner of the fifth season of The Voice on October 28 by a technician from his tour, who claims to have received messages and videos of a pornographic nature.

A second complaint, this time for sexual assault, was filed on November 18 “in the name of a technician from the show organized on December 17, 2023 at the Zénith de Saint-Étienne”. The acts alleged against the artist occurred “at the end of the concert, in the presence of several witnesses”, and who, for some, filmed the scene, according to the plaintiff's lawyer.
