France 3 is the leader of the prime time of Saturday, September 14 with the French fiction “Meurtres à Montauban”. According to Médiamétrie, this new opus of the star collection “Meurtres à…” brings together 4,09 millions of viewers, either 23,2% audiences aged 4 and over. “Meurtres à Montauban” is starring Hubert Delattre and Déborah Krey, written by Aymeric Nogué and François Grillières, and directed by Muriel Aubin. On Saturday, September 7, the new French fiction “Le Vent des Sables”, starring Marie-José Croze, Tom Leeb and Alexandre Brasseur, brought together 3.62 million crime fiction fans for an audience share of 21.4%.

“Peking Express” weak for the launch of its 19th season

France 2 followed with “Paris 2024: Merci!, the big event evening”, which celebrated the athletes, para-athletes, volunteers, organizers, and supporters of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The program brought together 2,81 millions from French (17,4% audience share). It was presented live from the Champs-Elysées by Léa Salamé, Nagui, Laurent Luyat and Mohamed Bouhafsi. It closed a day marked by the parade on the most beautiful avenue in the world of all those who made this memorable summer a success. Last Saturday, France 2 had also seen a superb score with the broadcast of the Paralympic Games competitions, including the blind football final, where the Blues, led by their captain Frédéric Villeroux, won the gold medal, provoking the joy of 2.81 million sports fans (16.9% audience share).

TF1 is in third place with a new issue of “The Voice Kids”, which began the battle phase. The first part, from 9:13 p.m. to 10:22 p.m., was watched by 2,27 millions of viewers (12,7% audience share). The second, from 10:31 p.m. to 11:27 p.m., captured 2,03 millions of viewers (16,0% audience share). Last week, the first part, from 9:13 p.m. to 10:19 p.m., convinced 2.80 million viewers and the second, from 10:28 p.m. to 11:39 p.m., 2.65 million viewers. The respective audience shares were 16.1% and 21.8%. Let us recall that the talent show, hosted by Nikos Aliagas, is celebrating its tenth season, with coaches Patrick Fiori, Claudio Capéo, Lara Fabian and Slimane.

M6 comes in fourth with the launch of the nineteenth season of “Pékin Express”, entitled “L’Epopée des Maharadjas”. This nineteenth season has the particularity of being the third “All Stars”, that is to say composed only of former candidates. It is also scheduled on a Saturday, which is not new, but remains exceptional – the usual slot of the adventure game embodied by Stéphane Rotenberg being Thursday evening. The first part attracted, between 9:14 p.m. and 10:05 p.m., 1,36 million viewers and recorded an audience share of 7,5%. The second, between 10:12 p.m. and 11:33 p.m.: 972.000 viewers, or an audience share of 7,3%. The launch of the eighteenth season, on Thursday, February 8, 2024, named “On the trail of the golden tiger”, had, for its first part (9:13 p.m.-9:59 p.m.), captivated 2.29 million viewers (12.0% audience share). The second (10:06 p.m.-11:20 p.m.) had been viewed by 1.92 million viewers (13.0% audience share).

As for the other channels, France 5 made people dream 939.000 passionate about travel, in other words 5,3% viewers, with a new issue of the magazine “Echappées Belles”. In this new episode, Jérôme Pitorin took us to Italy, more precisely to Tuscany. Seven days ago, the rebroadcast of the issue of the magazine dedicated to Argentina, hosted by Ismaël Khelifa, was seen by 800,000 viewers and obtained an audience share of 4.7%.
