Since the beginning of the Mazan rape trial, anger has been brewing. This Saturday, September 14, 2024, many people demonstrated across France in support of Gisèle Pélicot and all women victims of abuse.

The Mazan rape case shocked and mobilized thousands of people across France. Gisèle Pelicot, a victim of sexual violence perpetrated by a group of 51 men, including her own husband Dominique Pelicot, has become a symbol of the fight against violence against women. For several years, these men took turns at the marital home in Mazan to commit aggravated rapes, a crime organized by her husband.
