the essential
Graines d’Étoiles Lot is planning a festive concert on Sunday January 5 in Cahors. On the program: extracts from operas, operettas and musical comedies.
At the start of each year, Cahors is accustomed to its festive concert. 2025 is no exception.
Supporting young professional artists
To celebrate the New Year in music, this Sunday, January 5, Graines d’Étoiles Lot invited four singers from the Cie Opér’Azul, for a great lyrical celebration around extracts from the most famous operas. Remember that this association has a dual vocation: to support young professional opera singers and to allow the public to discover an art that they do not necessarily know.
This January 5, soprano Céline Laborie, mezzo-soprano Catalina Skinner, tenor Pierre-Emmanuel Roubet and baritone Pierre-Yves Binard will be accompanied by Inessa Lecourt, the pianist of the Orchester du Capitole de Toulouse. They have reserved a concert for the public of the Lot “rich in humor and full of tenderness, surprises and passion”.
Mozart, Bernstein, Offenbach…
The faithful of Graines d’Étoiles Lot were able to hear them separately during certain concerts where they were very appreciated. They should be delighted to see them gathered here for this very festive moment. In short, the opportunity to start the year with music and joy thanks to a line-up of very brilliant artists.
This Festive Concert is a show staged with extracts from operas, operettas and musical comedies by Mozart, Rossini, Donizetti, Bellini, Verdi, Bizet, Delibes, Bernstein, Offenbach, Lara, Loewe…
