Born in Paris to a French father and a Filipino mother, Cathy Jane grew up in an environment conducive to cultural diversity in the heart of Val de Marne. Introduced to music at the age of 6 by learning classical violin at the conservatory, as a teenager she developed a very pronounced taste for musical composition. Strongly influenced by the folk of Joni Mitchell or Carol King, Cathy Jane writes all her pieces in the form of an intimate guitar/voice, subsequently colliding with multiple references as diverse as they are varied, sometimes flirting with the trip- Hop and Soul. An accomplished singer and multi-instrumentalist, her pieces come to life through texts recounting different chapters of her personal journey, from adolescence to adulthood. Cathy Jane takes the stage to express her emotions, her anxieties, and her quest for identity, thus inviting the audience to contemplate a living show, both poetic and timeless. – 6:30 p.m.: doors open 8 p.m.: start of the concert Reservations are strongly recommended. €2 per person is added to the bill if you dine during the concert.
