The meeting took place from 6 p.m. and the family audience continued to arrive responding to the traditional and much appreciated invitation to meet up to celebrate Christmas at the foot of the immense fir tree enthroned in the middle of the square. Arcades! Before the musical part of this meeting began, there was a long moment of exchanges, reunions of neighbors not seen for a long time, dear and even lost friends and members of local associations and from the surrounding area.
Then the Fargas Trio, composed of musicians from the Community Music School, began its mini-concert of Christmas pieces performed with talent. This only had the effect of warming hearts because it was very cold. Fortunately, the “La Famille ça grandit” reception stand offered a delicious hot drink (apples and cinnamon) with excellent savory-sweet tarts and homemade cakes. We all sang in chorus with great enthusiasm and the one we were waiting for: Santa Claus, arrived to applause! The photos went well with the nice bearded man dressed in red and white. And we sang again for a good while; everyone was happy with this traditionally anticipated festive meeting!
