Jim Carrey announced he was ending his long career in Hollywood in 2022, after nearly 40 years on our screens, but he finally came out of retirement to play Doctor Eggman in “Sonic 3.”
He told E! News: “I think any time you walk away from something, even if it’s something you love, you appreciate it for what it’s worth. So I appreciate the rest. And I also like the fact that I don’t have to face people, you know what I mean? »
The Hollywood actor was then asked about the most “awesome” moment of his career so far and admitted that he has more “gratitude” now, especially this holiday season when he can see that new generations can be introduced to his Christmas classic “The Grinch.”
He added: “It’s less about admiration and more about…I appreciate it. I am gratified. When the Grinch comes by every year, I sit back and think, “Wow! » When the kids are old enough, they’ll see this and they’ll be like, “That guy’s cool!” “.
