This is a first for a Miss France, Angélique Angarni-Filopon has two tattoos. If the Miss had already shown these ornaments on the Futuroscope podium, it was on the set of “BFMTV” this December 17 that she revealed their meaning.
Angélique Angarni-Filopon is the Miss of all firsts. In addition to being the first Miss Martinique to win the title as well as the oldest candidate to be elected, she is also the first to be crowned with a tattoo! A big novelty, a consequence of the more flexible selection rules of the Miss France society, since 2022. In addition to sporting tattoos, participants can now present themselves regardless of their age.
If for two years, some regional Misses had already gone through a tattoo parlor before their election, neither Eve Gilles nor Indira Ampiot had made this choice before the evening of their coronation. A great first for Angélique Angarni-Filopon, who, whether on her social networks, during photo shoots or when she paraded on the Futuroscope stage, has never sought to hide the patterns that adorn her wrist and her arm.

Invited on the set of “BFMTV” on December 17, the new Miss France 2025 did not hesitate to reveal their meaning and show their location. It was fourteen years ago, when Angélique was 20, that she had her very first one done during a trip to the United States. It was with her eldest Jessica that she got started. “I did this with my sister. We went on vacation to Miami,” she said. Placed on his left wrist, the design represents the sign of infinity.

A second tattoo written in Creole
Angélique Angarni-Filopon then revealed her second tattoo. Drawn just above the first, it was by lifting her left sleeve that the one who succeeded Eve Gilles revealed it. In the fold of the arm we can read a sentence, written in Creole, which means “I am blessed”, she explained, before adding: “It’s the song of a Martinique singer called Meryl.”
Born in Martinique, Angélique Angarni-Filopon followed her parents to the Paris region. “I grew up in Val d’Oise in Vauréal, in a small house filled with love and I spent all my summers in the West Indies,” she told us before her election. However, two years ago, it was out of nostalgia for her native island that she returned to settle there.

“I had toured the Paris region. I needed to breathe. I bought my tickets for a vacation in Martinique, on July 10, 2022. When I returned from this vacation, I did everything to be able to leave there permanently,” she confided to “BFMTV”. That’s when Angélique dove back into Creole.
