The Princess of Wales attended the welcoming ceremony for Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and his wife, on a state visit to England, on Tuesday 3 December.

She appeared dazzling on the streets of London. Kate Middleton actually wore a burgundy outfit – one of the key colors of this fall-winter, reminiscent of the flag of Qatar – to welcome the Emir and his wife Sheikha Jawaher, this Tuesday, December 3. Prince William, in suit and tie, and still with his beard, was also present. Wales accompanied Charles III to the welcoming ceremony which marked the first day of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's state visit.

For the occasion, the Princess of Wales, with a Chanel bag in her hand, sported a long burgundy coat, with matching boots and gloves. Her hair, styled in a bun, was adorned with a hat of the same shade. On her neck, she wore a jewel offered by Queen Elizabeth II, a necklace with a quadruple row of diamonds and pearls, offered to the sovereign by the Japanese government in the 1970s. A jewel that Kate Middleton already wore during the funeral of the Prince Philip on April 17, 2021.

A popular beard

Since this summer, Prince William's beard has become his new signature, which he wears on all occasions. A look that would delight his wife. She would have described it as “exciting” during a discussion with Sophie Wessex, as revealed The Sun on November 10. The Prince of Wales also won the title of “sexiest bald man in the world” for the second year in a row, according to a study published by the public relations agency Reboot on November 12. He earned a near-perfect score of 9.88/10, beating out Hollywood stars such as Dwayne Johnson and Shaquille O'Neal.
