Pierre Palmade was found guilty of involuntary injury to a family in the collision he caused on a road in Seine-et- on February 10, 2023, while driving under the influence of drugs. Three people were seriously injured by the impact: a 38-year-old man, his six-year-old son and his 27-year-old sister-in-law, who lost the baby she was expecting after the impact.

For the two years, the court issued a deferred committal warrant with provisional execution (giving rise to incarceration even in the event of appeal).
