Confidences which provoked numerous reactions. This December 1, 2024, Frédéric Lopez hosted Louis Chedid, Audrey Dana and Baptiste Lecaplain on the show Un Dimanche à la campagne. After talking about their childhood memories but also their early career, the comedian opens up about what fame has brought him: “The rooms are full, people look at you and suddenly, very pretty girls look at you. And I hadn't known anyone else, apart from my partner at the time, so I knew that at one point given…”, he said, not finishing his sentence.

And his companion will see clearly: “She told me: 'I imagine it will tickle in one place'. And I actually meet someone and I have a double life for three months”.

Baptiste Lecaplain confides in his infidelity

Then, Baptise Lecaplain puts an end to her extra-marital relationship: “At the moment when I decide to stop with my mistress – because I had a mistress, it must be said – she finds out the next day and she leaves me”, he reports. Distraught, the actor is at his lowest.

His manager then decides to invite them both to a meeting, organized in a bar in order to reconcile them.
“I see my ex outside, with a cold look. And it’s going very badly. She tells me that if I want to get her back, I’ll call this girl. But when I tell him it’s over, he starts screaming.”he remembers.

“It’s a terrible humiliation”

Baptiste Lecaplain will then experience a very difficult moment:
“I don’t like being noticed, it’s horrible, it’s a terrible humiliation”he remembers. But it is clear that his partner managed to forgive him.

Indeed, seven years after this extra-marital affair, the comedian adapts his memories to the theater “because it ended well, we got back together and had our second child,” he concludes. Very frank confidences for the man who almost lost the love of his life and who agreed to reveal himself completely in front of Frédéric Lopez's camera.
