Artist Andy Picci reveals two poetic works
Among the works of contemporary artists on display, the conceptual creations of Swiss Andy Picci fascinate and surprise.
While one of his works, representing a metallic atom floating on its base, questions the notion of the fragility of things, but also of human beings, the other, immediately bringing to mind the drapes of Christo and Jeanne Claudeconsists of a skateboard placed under a sheet and surrounded by a rope.
Alongside a wooden construction by the plastic artist Raphaël Zarka positioned in the center of the room and boards hung on the walls and tagged by the artists Jeremy Yamamura and Lucas Beaufort, this second work byAndy Picci Me-mory:of_a_fall fits perfectly into a desire to recall Sarah Andelman’s attachment to the culture of skateboardwhich constitutes one of the common threads of the event.
The exhibition “Attention, Fragile!” » by Sarah Andelman is organized from November 28 to December 20, 2024 on the first floor of Salon Sotheby’s, 83 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris 8.
