How did you experience this orientation test? Were you prepared for this?
“I don’t know how to use a compass and I don’t have a very good sense of direction. I always have a GPS with me. My father-in-law gave me some advice. Unfortunately, I was very tired. It didn’t help me in my research. In the end, I got very stressed.“
“Koh-Lanta”: did our Belgian candidate manage to reach the posts?
When you were eliminated, you wanted to thank Frédéric. What did he represent in your adventure?
“Fred is like my godfather of adventure. He gave me strength and gave me confidence. I had an obligation not to disappoint him. He has been there to lift me to the top. It is an essential part of my Koh Lanta. I owe him a lot.“
You say that this experience changed you. In what sense?
“I have changed. Before, I didn’t dare to do certain things because I was afraid of getting screwed. Koh Lanta Made me realize that with strength and determination, we can lift things. This experience also allowed me to have more self-confidence and more self-esteem.“
Avant Koh Lantayou were also afraid of insects…
“I’ve always hated animals, insects. When a bee approaches me, I get up from the table. In Koh LantaI took a lot upon myself. I put into practice what my mental coach had advised me. If I hadn’t done it, I would have been fired straight away. (laughs) Since this experience, I am different. If I see a spider at home, I’m not going to scream. I’m going to take her with my hands and put her outside.“
What are the moments that marked your Koh-Lanta?
“The star test was quite symbolic for me as a star dancer. The star brings me back to everything in the end. And the fact of having made this village dance was also a very beautiful moment. It’s a beautiful message of love and sharing.“
How do you deal with negative comments on social media?
“Since I was little, I have been very criticized because I wanted to be a classical dancer. I’m used to people sending me hate. Unfortunately, in today’s society there are still many people who are homophobic, closed-minded or intolerant. It doesn’t make me sad because I’m used to it. What do I want to say to those who criticize me? “I was chosen to participate in Koh Lanta and I stayed there for 40 days! It’s not nothing!“”
Do you have any new projects in the field of dance?
“Dance is a profession that ends early. I continue to make my videos as a social media content creator. I love doing choreography with my heels. From now on, I would like to turn more towards cinema, television or stand-up.“
