La Côte-Saint-Jacques, in Joigny in Yonne, is one of the best restaurants in the world, according to a ranking unveiled Monday November 25, 2024. This ranking is established by the digital guide La Liste, which lists the 1,000 best establishments each year in the world.
As in 2023, La Côte-Saint-Jacques, two stars in the Michelin Guide, is among the 111 French restaurants selected. The ranking is “derived from the compilation of thousands of press publications, hundreds of guides and millions of online reviews”. Each assessment was then converted into a score out of 100.

The Jovinien restaurant obtained a score of 93 this year, up compared to 2023 (91.50). Côte-Saint-Jacques is ahead of the two other establishments in Burgundy Franche-Comté cited by La Liste: the Bernard Loiseau relay in Saulieu (score of 91) and the William Franchot restaurant in Dijon (score of 86).
At the top of the ranking, nine establishments obtained a score of 99.50, including two French restaurants: the Parisian restaurant of chef Guy Savoy, born in Nevers, and that of Arnaud Donckele, La Vague d’or, in Saint-Tropez .
