Wayout installs “Zigo Filter” in Dar Chaabane El Fihri to reduce risks

The project carried out in partnership with the municipality of Dar Chaabane El Fihri and Philip Morris International in Tunisia aims to fight against flooding and preserve the environment

The green start-up Wayout deploys its “Zigofiltre” products which aim to limit the risks of flooding by retaining waste in the municipality of Dar Chaabane El Fihri.

This project, carried out in partnership with the municipality of Dar Chaabane El Fihri and Philip Morris International in Tunisia, will result in the installation of 246 Zigofilters in the sanitation network in this municipality regularly affected by serious flooding.

Pollution of the sanitation network by waste is a persistent problem which makes the maintenance of drainage networks complex, increasing the risk of flooding during heavy rains and causing material damage, human losses and contamination of water resources. water.

“Wayout has designed a practical response to this problem thanks to the installation of Zigofilters. These devices make it possible to capture and retain solid waste to prevent their accumulation and blockage in the sewers,” explains Mohamed Rammeh, Managing Director of Wayout.
