François joins the solidarity choir
Bastien summoned Violette, Lilou and Lizzie in order to ease tensions within the choir group. At that moment, Mia enters the room with Octave. She came to demonstrate her hidden talent: wheelchair dancing. Lizzie, Lilou, Violette and Bastien are impressed and decide that Mia will perform at the Christmas Market. But regarding the song that the choir must perform in front of the association’s stand, Bastien is not convinced by the words proposed by Violette. A little later, he asks Mélody’s help to persuade François to support them. Mélody doubts he will change his mind. Bastien thinks his mother could persuade him. Mélody agrees to discuss with François, but does not promise him anything.
She manages to convince her colleague to help the solidarity choir. He suggests keeping it classic and simple. He brought texts that he had written when he was their age. The high school students are impressed, because in addition to singing, François is also a talented pianist. François enthusiastically agrees to join the choir and modernize his compositions.
Conflict breaks out between Christmas market traders
When they arrive at the Christmas market, Alex, Bruno and Valentine notice that Victor has made some changes. He followed Timothée’s recommendations in order to successfully sell the estate’s wine. Victor has in fact exchanged his two-piece suit for a cardigan and now offers mulled wine, the cheapest on the market. But that’s not all. He also sells oysters from the Camargue. Valentine and Alex accuse Victor of practicing unfair competition. The young woman is particularly disappointed, because she will not be able to match Victor’s prices. But the latter remains indifferent to their complaints and even goes so far as to offer them a small drink.
A little later, Alain walks at the Christmas market and stops at Victor’s stand. He wants to taste some oysters before buying two baskets. But Victor cannot find his oyster knife and chooses to open one with a corkscrew. Valentine and Bruno watch the scene from afar. Bruno confides to the young woman that he stole Victor’s knife. Then, Nathan’s father approaches Alain and invites him to come and enjoy Alex’s oysters. Meanwhile, Victor continues to try to open the oyster with the corkscrew. In vain. He then suggests that Alain drink a glass of mulled wine. Alain declines his offer claiming that it is too early and follows Bruno to Alex’s stand.
In the evening, Alex announces to Bruno that he sold 5 more baskets than Chloé last year. He compared it with his wife’s notebook. Victor comes to meet them and mentions the mysterious disappearance of his oyster knife. But obviously, he doesn’t let this enigmatic theft get him down and tells them see you tomorrow.
Is Camille in danger?
Early in the morning, Zack takes Camille home. They climb the wall to access the terrace and deceive the police officer responsible for the family’s security. Zack confides to Camille that he appreciates this police surveillance, because it gives him the impression of being her hero when he comes to help her “escape”. Camille smiled at this remark. He then places a kiss on her cheek and thanks her for last night. Agnès surprises them together and quickly realizes that Camille spent the night away from home. Zack takes the opportunity to slip away. Agnès suggests that Camille talk to Raphaëlle about it, because she is not supposed to go out. Camille believes that it would be better to spare her mother, given that Sébastien is in a coma because of her husband.
A few minutes later, informed by Agnès, Raphaëlle lectures her daughter for spending the night with Zack. Camille insists that nothing happened between them, and that they just talked all night. Raphaëlle replies that this is not the problem, but a question of security. She reminds Camille that her grandfather is in critical condition. Camille points out that it is because of the husband of the woman she brought home that her grandfather is in the hospital. She then asks her mother to leave her alone and direct her anger towards someone else. Maud thinks that Raphaëlle is putting too much pressure on Camille. Raphaëlle confides to her youngest daughter that she cannot do otherwise. She doesn’t trust Zack and believes that if he really cared about Camille, he would have advised her to stay home safely.
At the police station, Roxane tells Martin and Karim of her disturbing discovery in Michel Prado’s phone. The application linked to the tracker found in the prosecutor’s coat was installed after his kidnapping. This detail supports Martin’s hypothesis that someone is trying to place the blame on Michel Prado.
At the Perrauds, Nordine has a discussion with Camille. He explains to the young woman that a real danger threatens his family and that it was irresponsible of him to sleep away. Nordine adds that because of her, her colleague was reframed. Camille recognizes that she should not have spent the night outside and defends herself by saying that she needed to get some fresh air. Suddenly the doorbell rings. Simon came to check on Camille and her grandfather. The young woman got angry with him, because he made Zack believe that they had gotten back together. Simon defends himself, explaining that he doesn’t trust Zack and that he just wanted to protect her. Camille reminds Simon that they are no longer together. Additionally, she points out that unlike him, Zack doesn’t lie. She then orders Simon to leave.
At the hospital, Aaron reveals to Chloé that Sébastien’s condition is worrying. He developed peritonitis as a result of his injuries, and antibiotics do not appear to be having any effect. He fears that the infection is gaining ground. Benny meets Chloé and notices her little face. She tells him the bad news about her best friend’s father. She then thinks of Marianne who would surely be devastated if Sébastien were to die.
At the Perrauds, Agnès confides to Raphaëlle that she is afraid for Michel even though she has been running from him for weeks. Raphaëlle believes that this feeling is understandable, especially since she felt affection for him. Agnès adds that it is time for her to return home and that it would be better for everyone. But Raphaëlle retorts that there is no question of her leaving the house, because she remains a potential target of the kidnapper.
Night has fallen in Sète. Camille phones Zack who asks about his grandfather. He clarifies that he can’t stop thinking about him, probably because he cares about her. Unwittingly, Camille then reveals sensitive information and explains to Zack that the police are convinced that someone is trying to frame Prado. Zack feels the blow and the expression on his face changes. The young man manipulates Camille and emphasizes that this story of police surveillance would therefore be a bit useless. Then, he offers to come pick her up and take her to Spoon for a drink or to spend the evening at his place. Is Camille Zack’s next target?
