On November 22, the city of Turin celebrated the launch of its Film Festival. For a week, many film celebrities must participate in previews, exclusive screenings, master classes but also and above all, red carpets. Emmanuelle Béart was invited to present her documentary “Un silence si bois” this Sunday, November 24.
On the red carpet, the actress wore an all-black ensemble by Michael Kors. Composed of a belted suit jacket and pleated pants, the look was completed with a large black jacket simply draped over the shoulders. Facing the photographers, Emmanuelle Béart did not hide her joy, proudly holding in her hands the “Stella Della Mole” prize received that evening.

This Sunday, November 24, Emmanuelle Béart discussed the birth of this documentary. At the microphone of “Fred” radio, which specializes in independent cinema and international films, the actress recounted the beginnings of the project: “I’ve wanted to do something for years, it’s important that this childhood pain do not remain in vain. You have to transmit something but for that you have to have the necessary distance. Time has done its work, this job, my children, my life… I built and I felt really ready to pass on something. »
Faced with this childhood wound, Emmanuelle Béart did not flinch: “We were victims, but we are not victims all our lives. It’s not inevitable, we can get through it. We can be left with after-effects throughout our adult life, but that was not the case for me. I managed to take possession of myself outside of this act. »
