Netflix continues to reveal the actors who will join season 2 of its adaptation of One Piece. And this time, we have more information on the path of the Straw Hats!

Still on X (formerly Twitter), Netflix has just revealed the cast of some of the highly anticipated characters in season 2 of its adaptation of One Piece. The latter will narrate the events taking place between the end of the East Blue saga and the Drum arc, and it is precisely some of their protagonists who are in the spotlight here. This is how we discover that Colonel Smoker, in charge of the town of Logue Town, as well as Staff Sergeant Tashigiwho will be played by Callum Kerr (Hollyoaks) and Julia Rehwald (Fear Street) respectively.

The focus then turns to important characters from the Drum arc, whether Wapol, the tyrannical king, or the kind Daltonwho will be played by Rob Coletti (WTF: World Thumbwrestling Federation) and Tyrone Keogh (24H à Vivre). Once again, and as with the announcement of the actors who will play members of Baroque Works, fans find absolutely nothing wrong with Netflix’s choices.
Next stop: the snowy kingdom!
If the speculations concerning the route of the Straw Hats in the series were debated, in particular due to the number of adventures which separate Logue Town from Drum, one thing is now definitively certain: we will actually see the snowy kingdom. In fact, if Eiichiro Oda – creator of One Piece – had promised that the character of Chopper would be visible in season 2 of the live-action, some fans thought he would actually only make a brief post-credits cameo as Smoker in season 1.
However, the recently revealed cast features, as previously said, the actors of Wapol and Dalton, central characters of the Drum arc. Thus, Everything suggests that the new season of the show will extend, at the very least, to a fairly advanced part of the said adventure. This sequel is now expected for 2025 and there is no doubt that more information will come to answer our questions. To be continued !
