As the Euromillions celebrates its twentieth anniversary, 100 European players became millionaires on Friday November 22. Among them, 29 French won the sum of one million. This is more than in 2022 and 2023 during the previous “rains of millionaires”, explains the specialist site Tirage-Gagnant.
The number of participants in the European lottery is also a record. Nearly 58 million grids were played this Friday. In 2022 and 2023, only 47 million people had participated in this game on an evening of this type.
But if the lottery made people happy, the jackpot of 189 million euros has still not been won. Eleven people nevertheless found the five correct numbers. They respectively won 151,312.40. Among them are three French people.
Still according to Tirage-Gagnant, it has now been fourteen draws since the jackpot was won. This Tuesday, November 26, during the next Euromillions draw, 208 million euros will therefore be at stake. If no player finds the right combination, it will be 230 million on Friday December 29. The maximum prize pool ceiling is set at 250 million.
