The junior association L’Entre-nous, created in 2000, brought together a group of young people from the town for two years. Mathéo Blondeau and his friends led many projects, including a charity race and concert. Due to a lack of successors, Entre-nous ceased its activities.

Mathéo continued to be involved in the community’s activities, joining the O’Bar association in Thyme and the festival committee. The young Louzéen, aged 19, has just launched a new association, the Loubéin, with the aim of organizing cultural events. The office of the new association is made up of Mathéo Blondeau, president, Simon Rambault, secretary, and Mathis Leconte, treasurer.

The Loubéins are organizing Les Louzarts, a contemporary music festival, on Saturday July 20, at the Villeneuve racecourse. Our goal is not to compete with the Thouars festival but to offer a new cultural offering for young people in the area. We have set up a steering committee of around ten people and we can count on many volunteers and the partnership of several associations in the town. Mathéo specifies.

Four artists are on the program for the first Les Louzarts festival: French Fuse, a duo of musicians who made themselves known thanks to their musical arrangements derived from jingles, advertising slogans and everyday noises; James Baker, guest of Chantiers des Francofolies; the young Franco-Brazilian Luiza and DJ Onael.

Prices: €15, reduced €12 and €5 for under 12s. Reservations on the HelloAsso website.
