AEW Full Gear: A wrestler wins his first title

A wrestler won his first career championship on the AEW side and it is Daniel Garcia.

Indeed, during AEW Full Gear 2024 (results here), Daniel Garcia was able to win the TNT title from Jack Perry. A victory which was achieved by submission using a Dragon Tamer on Perry to make him tap.

Daniel Garcia had the chance to celebrate the moment with fans before leaving backstage. We must not forget that in October 2024 Daniel Garcia announced the signing of a new contract with AEW after a period of questioning his future. Garcia had announced that he wanted to win championships, and that’s what happened.

Jack Perry had a 147-day reign after capturing the title at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 and forging a belt in his image.
