It’s a case that continues to be talked about. On February 10, 2023, Pierre Palmade was behind the wheel of his car when he caused a terrible accident. The comedian moved into the left lane, colliding head-on with another vehicle. He seriously injured a pregnant woman, who subsequently lost her baby, a man and his six-year-old son. In the columns of JDD this Sunday, November 24, Pascal Praud returned to this story, making an indirect attack on Muriel Robin, a long-time friend of the comedian. “Complicity has become poison. Courage let’s flee is then the watchword”, he began. The journalist then states: “And too bad if his friends knew about his excesses before the tragedy. And that they did not, as far as I know, taint their friendship.” Without naming anyone in particular, he continues his explanation by stating: “It was necessary for his addiction to become public, for it to cause an accident, for the fear of being splashed to force him to take off.” A simple sentence which evokes the remarks made by Muriel Robin. Following the tragedy caused by Pierre Palmade, the comedian confided that she had moved away from her friend. A long-standing relationship which ended and this seems to annoy Pascal Praud a lot. “The rats are leaving the ship, they sometimes say”he declared. Very sharp remarks but also noticed.
