Good news for fans of French and French-speaking music, since the Francofolies de La Rochelle festival announces its return in the summer of 2025. Join us from Thursday July 10 to Monday July 14, 2025 to see a host of artists live. So, when will the first names be announced and the ticket office open? We tell you more.
Having become a reference in the field, the festival of Francofolies of La Rochelle is committed to making known and disseminating current songs and music, mainly French and French-speaking, to a wide audience. As a result, many French-speaking artists flock there every year to thrill the hearts of fans and enthusiasts of this musical genre.
But the festival has also been able to diversify its aims over the years. So, “the Francos Shipyard“, a stage improvement workshop for emerging French-speaking artists from song and current music, was born.
And despite the years that pass, success is still present. The proof with 150,000 festival-goers in 2017, more than 80 concerts on 6 stages over 5 days. Half of the spectators are under 30 years old and those under 25 represent 43% of the public.
In the summer of 2024, the festival of Francofolies of La Rochelle made a successful return with a fine program bringing together Sting, Ninho, Josman, PLK, Zola, Luidji, Bigflo & Oli, Jean-Michel Jarre, Patrick Bruel, Pascal Obispo, Zaho de Sagazan and even Etienne Daho, Eddy de Pretto, Grand Corps Malade, Sofiane Pamart and the Versailles group Phœnix.
In 2025the festival announces its return to La Rochelle on the occasion of a new not-to-be-missed edition of Thursday July 10 to Monday July 14. On the menu? A series of talented artists, with diverse and varied styles, to be found on the Jean-Louis Foulquier stage, on the stage of the Grand Théâtre or on the stage of the Salle Bleue.
The festival invites you to meet you on Thursday November 28 at 10 a.m. for the announcement of the first names and the opening of the ticket office.
