Fans of urban and contemporary Art are delighted with the opening of the Outsiders Gallery in Pacy-sur-Eure (Eure).
Founded in 2015 by Paul Delahayethe first gallery of the name was created in Rouenfollowed by a second to Enghien-les-Bains. Paul Delahaye’s success is based on his in-depth knowledge of art mixed with good intuitions and great encounters. In 2023, his wife Maria joined him in the adventure, thus strengthening the family character of the gallery, just as she chose to concentrate on the work of forty artists.
Outsiders Galerie specializes in the representation and promotion of emerging artists, we create lasting collaborations with artists to best support them in their artistic journey.
Today, Outsiders Galerie offers its talents new opportunities to make themselves known less than an hour from Paris, in the Eure department very close to the Giverny impressionists. In just a few years, the gallery has built a reputation among professionals in the sector and the general public.
Quality relationships
The new gallery was made possible thanks to the help of Nicolas Blondeel for the acquisition of premises and collector Ephraim Jouywho will run the store.
Art lover and collector, Ephraïm Jouy worked at the Hôtel-Dieu Museum in the city of Mantes in the cultural and heritage department and wrote for newspapers and magazines. The few days of training reinforced his idea that Pacy-sur-Eure was an interesting town where many people from different worlds meet.
Visitor feedback is very positive. Some came from Paris for the opening and local artists came to present themselves. Human relations count both with the artists and with the clients.
Very well received by elected officials and traders, the gallery owner explains that the exhibitions will change every three weeks in order to promote the forty artists supported (read box) while a solo exhibition will be organized every two or three months. Of the privatizations will be possible for individuals and businesses. Very attached to culture, Ephraïm Jouy intends to offer plastic arts teachers two colleges in the canton of meetings or events around art.
