The pleasure is still there. Desire too. From 2006Pascal Bondu publishes novels. The last one has just been published, still published by Hey (Vendée). It is about The Secret. The fictional story of a man, living Rezetorn between the revelation or silence of a secret that he has been carrying for years, before dying: “should he take it with him or take the risk, by revealing it, of shocking or disturbing those around him, including his children and grandchildren? This is the dilemma” summarizes the author.

Accustomed to polarthe amateur author of dances knows how to handle suspense. There mechanics are mastered.

Even if in this work there was a slightly more complex exercise, that of keeping secret… the secret.

He made a habit of reporting on these stories. As for the last book in which he addressed the story of a healer (the Peasant Sorcerer), that many have in their entourage. There he talks about family secrets.

I strive to ensure that the stories are close to reality. This is what will make my plot. Then, I imagine the plot and build the characters.

His little rewards

Even if Pascal Bondu goes to his rhythm in writingthe current scenario is never far from his mind. Sometimes reality helps him with his fiction. To the rhythm of almost a book a yearone story quickly chases another.

My little reward is when I am told that there are developments in my writing. Or that people buy the latest book blindly, just because they liked the previous ones.

He’s not looking for the bestseller. Just enough to finance the next one.

Moreover, the book does not order only on request. THE signing sessions and the expositions remain limited: the last took place within the framework of Fair of good ideas from November 9 to 11in the multipurpose room of Palletwhich gave pride of place to local talents (creators, well-being experts, gourmets, etc.). There will be the traditional gathering of authors at Vallet hypermarket the SATURDAY November 23 et some Christmas markets.

Local history books alongside

Its activity is not limited to this annual rate alone. Pascal Bondu undertook to write the history of the Vallet firefighters. A work which must be published at the next Departmental Firefighters Congress which will take place in his city. The one who made a career in this body for 30 years and was a volunteer for 35, did the same thing in 2011during the previous gathering with The call of the sirens.

And when it is not the call of the men of fire that makes him write, it is that of the family. The one who lived for more than 400 years at Moulin Bonduheritage which has burned one night 1959, when he was only 11 months old. For this work which will remain internal to the family, the story is very real.
