Eight people poisoned by carbon monoxide in a house in Maine-et-

This Tuesday, December 3, in the afternoon, firefighters intervened in a residential house in Nyoiseau (Segré-en-Anjou-Bleu) to rescue eight people who were victims of carbon monoxide poisoning. Six of them were taken to hospital.

This Tuesday, December 3, around 3:50 p.m., eight people aged around sixty were victims of carbon monoxide poisoning, in a residential house in Nyoiseau, delegated commune of Segré-en-Anjou- Blue. 19 firefighters from the emergency centers of Segré-en-Anjou-Bleu, L'Araize (Bouillé-Ménard and Châtelais), -Ouest and Renazé (Mayenne) intervened on site with three ambulances, a vehicle specialized in risks technology, a fire truck and a command vehicle.

The victims, conscious but with symptoms of headache and nausea, were treated. Six of them were transported to the Angers University Hospital and to the Château-Gontier hospital center (Mayenne). The incident was likely due to a cooking appliance.
