two big names in French song are in concert this week in Provence. Alain Chamfort, this Thursday at 6mic in Aix-en-Provence and Pascal Obispo this Friday at the Dôme in .

2024 will mark the great return of Alain Chamfort on all fronts: a new album preceded by an EP in collaboration with Sébastien Tellier, a gradual release from his abundant catalog. Ahead of this multiple news, Alain Chamfort imagined giving a special meeting to his audience: a show which brings together the great songs of his career, in which he will engage in the game of a live interview. On stage, accompanied by his pianist and his lifelong accomplice, the Franco-American singer and presenter Valli, he will share with us the anecdotes and great moments of his professional life: his start to his career as a musician, notably alongside Jacques Dutronc , his beginnings as a singer with Claude François, the “Gainsbourg” years with whom he made three albums, the birth of his songs, the encounters that marked his life, the successes, the setbacks, everything that makes the best of our lives . Between secrets and piano, this unique event will highlight the songs from his repertoire (Manureva, Bamboo, Ivory Hunter, Traces of you, Fever in the blood, Clara wants the Moon…) and other, lesser-known gems that pepper the albums of his career.

Alain Chamfort is, this Thursday, November 21, on stage at 6mic in Aix-en-Provence.

Continuing the celebration of his 30 years of success, Pascal Obispo is going back on tour. The artist who defines himself as a “music lover” or “dream creator” offers his audience a brand new show. He will perform his emblematic titles, but also those (very numerous) that he wrote for those close to him, such as Florent Pagny, Johnny Hallyday, Zazie or even Les Dix Commandements, all accompanied this time by five of his musicians. This new, more intimate meeting is an opportunity to continue to commune with his loyal audience and to sing together his greatest hits as a composer and author, some of which have never been performed by the artist on stage.
