K-pop group Ateez returns to the OLM Souissi stage

The first K-pop group to perform in Mawazine, Ateez aroused all the desires, and did not disappoint its fans, this Sunday, June 23 on the stage of the OLM Souissi during this 19th edition. Wild choreographies and electric songs, the Korean boy band offered a show that festival-goers will remember for a long time.

Before meeting Ateez on stage, the Mawazine audience had an appointment with Alwann, the multi-platinum producer with 24 Billboard #1 chart entries to his credit and is one of the most in-demand producer/writers in the world . The artist heated up the stage, notably with a remarkable cover of “Koulna Mgharba”, H-Kayne’s flagship piece.

Alween gave way to the expected group, welcomed with great fanfare by a crazy audience who chanted the name of each member of the boy band.

Mixing rock, pop as well as rap, the group composed of eight members: Seonghwa, Hongjoong, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho made a sensational entrance, celebrating musical and cultural diversity at the Mawazine Festival with a scenography and a breathtaking choreography.

Faced with a community of hyper-engaged fans around K-Pop who armed themselves with their most beautiful signs bearing messages of support, the group exchanged a few words, saying they were delighted to return to Morocco, after more than six years. They performed their biggest songs such as “Say my name”, “Wonderland” and “Hala Hala”.

This third evening is therefore a successful bet. Festival-goers will meet tomorrow with rappers Gazo&Tiakola as well as SCH on this same stage.
