The Petites Pierres qui Roulant concert met or even exceeded the expectations of a large audience who came to attend this new show entitled “The Goldkids sing Goldman”. Fans and less fans of JJG were won over by this group of 17 young people, aged 7 to 18, whose richness comes from the heterogeneity of ages and voices. Generations pass but JJG’s music continues to make people sing and dance, he who has become a bit “family” for each of us.

The 15 songs of this musical show, peppered with funny or moving anecdotes, relayed the values and favorite themes of this singer-songwriter, regularly elected favorite personality of the French, and so respected by great singers for his talent and humility .

Ludivine Fauvet Rouch, choir director at the origin of this children’s section created within the Pierres Qui Roulent association, praised the great ability of her protégés to assimilate so many words in a few months: like Maud, 6 years old when he entered in September, who learned songs by heart by ear, even before knowing how to read!

Ludivine’s arrangements and the staging effects highlighted the combination of these young voices. Each child was highlighted during solos or small formations, generating beautiful moments of emotion for the spectators, according to the themes addressed: importance of solidarity and fraternity in the face of the inequalities of life, fight against all kinds of discrimination, freedom, family…

At the end of the show, spectators acquired or who came out of curiosity (having never seen them before) admitted to being totally seduced by the quality of the voices and the show, and the happiness that the children gave off singing together.

Three “big girls”, present since the creation of the group, have turned 18 and have to leave for their studies. Laurine, very moved, spoke on their behalf to thank Ludivine for everything she had given them, but also to pay tribute to the entire group which is a second family in their eyes. “You are from my family” took on its full meaning in the mouths of all these young people…
