Initiated by the Moga Jeunes Association, this colorful evening offered the opportunity to several young musicians from the Cité des Alizés and elsewhere to highlight their talents, all in a vibrant and festive atmosphere where the music was resonated at every moment, captivating an enthusiastic and diverse audience.

The audience was thus treated to unique shows, both solo and duo, carried by contagious energy and remarkable virtuosity, having transported the spectators on an unforgettable musical journey.

The emerging talents were able to create perfect harmony by blending their influences to offer a rich palette of musical genres, thus enriching the crowd’s experience with a diversity ranging from traditional Moroccan and Arabic music to jazz, pop, raï and many other styles.

In a statement to MAP on this occasion, Adam Kachchaf, vice-president of the Moga Jeunes Association, indicated that this initiative aims to offer young musicians from Essaouira an opportunity to perform on stage and make themselves known to the local and national scale.

“This musical event is also part of efforts to strengthen the city’s cultural influence and promote its local music scene,” he added.

For her part, Oumaima Maiya, Souirie artist and member of the Moga Jeunes Association, indicated that this event is intended to be a showcase for young local talents, offering them a unique platform for artistic expression and professional development.

Same story with Badreddine Sajid, also a member of the Moga Jeunes Association, who said he was happy to see young artists from Essaouira benefit from such an opportunity to express their creativity and progress in their musical career.

For their part, young musicians praised, in similar statements, the importance of this initiative for their artistic development and their visibility in the local musical landscape and beyond.

Also known as “World Music Day”, the Fête de la Musique is an unmissable event, celebrating the richness and diversity of music in all its forms.

By allowing emerging talents to express themselves in an atmosphere of conviviality and creativity, this annual event tends to strengthen human bonds and promote a message of harmony through the universal power of music.
