Quebec’s largest shopping centre, Galeries de la Capitale, was recently put on the market.
Co-owner for 11 years, Oxford Properties, a company specializing in real estate, confirmed the news, first reported by The Soleil.
According to real estate website Green Street, RBC Bank has been given the mandate to sell the 1.3 million square foot building at a price of around $300 million.

Les Galeries de la Capitale was built in 1981 in the Lebourgneuf sector. It has been co-owned by Oxford Properties and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board since 2013.
Oxford Properties owns several shopping centres around the world, including in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.
