Among the big names in fashion is Hermes. Shows, spectacles, carte blanche, equestrian competitions, each of the Maison’s appearances always arouses a lot of interest. For this new edition of Fashion Week, the Hermès fashion show takes place THE June 22, 2024 at 3 p.m..
The brand was founded by Thierry Hermès in 1801 in Krefeld, a German city annexed to France and renowned for its textile business. In 1837 the eponymous designer opened his factory in Paris, rue Basse-du-Rempart, before settling years later, in 24 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. At that time, Hermès was designing equipment for horse riding.
Over the years, the company evolved. At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century she bet on the rise of luggage storagethen became a Couture House in the 1920s.
