Kanye West faces a new complaint filed Thursday in California by a former employee, Murphy Aficionado. The latter, having worked for the Yeezy brand and the Donda Academy school between 2022 and 2023, describes this period as a “nightmare” marked by daily “anti-Semitic tirades and conspiracies” from the artist.
According to the complaint, Kanye West frequently claimed that “the Jews controlled the Kardashians” and were “after him and his money.” The ex-employee also accuses the rapper of inappropriate behavior, citing professional meetings in hotels where Ye had noisy sex with his partner Bianca Censori or his masseuse. He claims to have felt “violated and dehumanized”.
Complete lack of respect from Kanye West
Murphy Aficionado’s lawyer, William Reed, said the move aims to “force Ye to understand that this behavior has no place in our society,” denouncing the “vitriol, hatred and anti-Semitism” as well as the rapper’s “total lack of respect for women”.
Married to Kim Kardashian for eight years before their divorce in 2022, Kanye West often claimed that “Jews control” his ex-wife’s family. Kim Kardashian, while recognizing her former husband’s bipolar disorders, denounced his behavior. Contacted by AFP, Kanye West’s representatives did not react to these accusations. The complaint seeks financial compensation for wrongful termination as well as emotional and psychological damages suffered.
