Galeries Lafayette celebrates its 130th anniversarye birthday and at the same time, their 130e Noël. Emblematic celebration of the department store brand known for its windows and decorations.

And this year, Galeries Lafayette is preparing a surprise in their Nantes store, Saturday November 16, 2024.

“Katrina Patchett and Christian Millette, famous dancers Dancing with the stars, will reveal the animated windows Christmas through a magical spectacle,” announces the brand. A signing session will then be organized.

Costumes designed by a stylist

Another surprise, the costumes of the characters presented in the windows were imagined by Kevin Germanier, Swiss stylist and founder of the Germanier brand.

A rising star of creation, he specialized in l’upcycling and designs his silhouettes from recycled objects and trash found in the street. The general public was notably able to discover his work during the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games, for which he created the costumes.

Gildas Salaün, deputy mayor of Nantes and delegate for businesses, will also be present to cut the inaugural ribbon and launch the holiday season at Galeries Lafayette.

” The chorale Gospel Rhapsody de Nantes will introduce you to its repertoire of end-of-year holiday songs exclusively,” adds the brand.

Workshops and Santa Claus

THE Saturdays December 14 and 21, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., DIY workshops (Do it yourself) Christmas will be offered to children aged 5 to 10, at 1is floor, to create handmade gifts.

A Santa Claus studio will also be installed in store.
