On November 29 and 30, 2024, Le Grand Tasting will return to the Carrousel du Louvre for its 19th edition. This unmissable show, organized by Bettane+Desseauve, will bring together major French and global producers and beautiful gems unearthed by Bettane+Desseauve experts.

“Wine lacked a festival like there is in cinema or music. This desire to showcase the best of wine, its great signatures and its emerging talents, around tastings but also events, pushed Michel Bettane and me to launch Le Grand Tasting. » Explains Thierry Desseauve, co-founder of the organizing company. Since its creation, Le Grand Tasting Paris has been dedicated to promoting the best in wine. This 19th edition brings together more than 250 producers and 1,200 wines carefully selected by the Bettane+Desseauve team of seasoned tasters. An incredible chance to taste great wines and discover new winegrowers.

The genius of wine

Bettane+Desseauve disseminates its idea of wine, “the genius of wine” through a double reading grid: expert tasting and a journalistic vision. Thus, the company puts more emphasis on the men and women who make the wine and directs the consumer as accurately as possible. The show also offers several themed routes. The booklet provides very good visibility of the stands, it is very easy to find your way around.

For the most curious, seasoned amateurs or neophytes in search of knowledge, masterclasses are run by the winegrowers themselves. On a chosen subject (among the 25 proposed), you will benefit from a guided and commented tasting. An experience to do at least once during your visit to the Carrousel du Louvre!
