This Friday, June 21, in Mazères, on the occasion of the music festival, the “Friends of Swing”, organizers of the Manouch’Muzik Festival from August 15 to 18, are offering three free concerts in the gardens of the Chalet Pasteur.
It is now a tradition in Mazères. Since 2015, the association “Les Amis du Swing” has been giving, on the occasion of the music festival, a preview of the Manouch’Muzik Festival, which will take place this year from August 15 to 18.
Thus, the association’s volunteers, to celebrate the first day of summer this Friday, June 21, 2024, will take over the gardens of Chalet Pasteur. From 7:30 p.m., the “Camping Sauvage” group will set the tone for the evening, with a vocal swing repertoire with a gypsy jazz twist. For the second concert, the organizers will make a small departure from the usual sounds with the group “Karpouzi Mon Amour”. It will offer a mix of Greek music and surf rock in a sixties atmosphere.
At the end of the evening, the Ariège group “Flamen’Couz” will close the Mazerian music festival in a Gypsy or Latin atmosphere.

An evening to launch into the Manouch’Muzik Festival
To complete this evening, “Les Amis du Swing”, in addition to the traditional appetizers and churros and pancake stands, will offer a catering formula with a combined plate composed of sausage, belly, egg, fries, salad and bethmale, at price of €14. A children’s menu is also offered at €8.
This music festival will therefore allow the organizers of the Manouch’Muzik Festival to celebrate the arrival of summer but also to embark on the 9th edition of the festival dedicated to gypsy music. As a reminder, this year, no less than 52 concerts will be available from August 15 to 18.
