End clap for the 3rd edition of the Jeunesse en Court festival

This year again, the Jeunesse en Court festival was sold out at the Jérôme-Savary theater on Saturday June 15. This third edition was chaired by comedian Michel Boujenah. The event, initiated by the Atelier cinema studio association and Stéphan Philippot, is an opportunity to discover new cinema talents.

Eighteen films presented

“This edition was sublime. We had more films in competition, five times more than the 2022 edition, or more than 550 films. The involvement of young people at the artistic level is incredible. It is completely in line with our cultural policy, breathes Mayor Véronique Négret who is a member of the jury. In total, 9 films in the Young category and 9 in the Pro category were presented to the public. The Grand Prize of the Youth Festival is The Sense of Music of the Les Bras Cassés team, and the Pro Grand Prix for The syndrome by Zulma Red. The short film in the Pro category goes to Come on girl, directed by Chloé Jouannet. It was a great success with four awards in total: best actor for Thomas Jouannet, best actress for Mado Jouannet, best screenplay and the audience award. A beautiful family story.

Continuation of the awards: best young actress: Luna Jeanjean in “Le Sens de la musique”; best soundtrack: “Dimber Ember”; best young screenplay: “Cocotte”; Best Young Achievement: “Not even bad”; best professional achievement: “The one who becomes naughty even though he was initially nice”; youth public prize: “H@te room”; young crush: “H@te room”.
