Two outdoor films in July and August in Farnham

MOVIE THEATER. Farnham en culture will present two outdoor films for the whole family during the summer season.

On July 19, young and old will be able to watch Wonka, a musical comedy from director Paul King. This film, released in Quebec last December, stars Timothée Chalamet, Hugh Grant, Rowan Atkinson, Olivia Colman, Calah Lane and Tom Davis.

Inspired by the main character of Charlie and the chocolate factory, this feature film tells the story of Willy Wonka’s beginnings in the world of confectionery. This young inventor with innovative ideas is determined to change the world and that the wildest dreams can come true if you really believe in them.

Second program

Farnham en culture continues, a month later, with the screening of Kung Fu Panda 4, an American animated film directed by Stephanie Stine and Mike Mitchel. The English version of this production features the voices of Dustin Hoffman, Jack Black and Viola Davis.

It tells the story of Po, a kung fu master who is preparing to become the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace and who must train a new adept of this martial art to replace him as a Dragon Warrior before assume his new functions.

The film opens on August 16, for a single performance.

At nightfall

The screenings take place at the Israel-Larochelle park at dusk. There is no entry fee and spectators can bring their own chair and snacks.
