The prestigious Music & Wine Festival at Clos Vougeot returns for its 16th edition, from June 22 to 30, in the enchanting setting of the Burgundian vineyards. This year again, it promises a memorable week, combining exceptional music and exclusive tastings, in a vibrant tribute to the cultural and wine heritage of Burgundy.

A meeting between music and wine
The Music & Wine Festival at Clos Vougeot aims to merge the talents of internationally renowned musicians with the excellence of Burgundy winegrowers. Under the artistic direction of Gautier Capuçon and Jean-Yves Thibaudet, and thanks to the support of generous patrons and partners, the festival continues to support promising young artists alongside the biggest names in the musical world.

A musical and oenological odyssey
The festival invites the public on a captivating journey through the landscapes and sounds of Burgundy. The concerts will be held in historic locations such as the courtyard of the Hôtel Dieu museum, the Château du Clos de Vougeot, the Abbey of Saint-Vivant and the Church of Saint-Romain. Each evening will be an opportunity to taste the great wines of Burgundy, in the presence of partner wineries, before letting yourself be carried away by the captivating notes of internationally renowned artists.

A free evening at the Hôtel-Dieu
In the courtyard of the Hôtel-Dieu museum, founded in the 16th century, the festival opens its doors to the public with the Carte Blanche Jeunes Talents concert, on Saturday June 22 at 6:30 p.m. This free concert will welcome the two young 2024 laureates , Nina van Essen, mezzo-soprano, and Yuhsin Galaxy Su, clarinet, accompanied by the Dijon Burgundy Orchestra.

Concerts at the Château du Clos de Vougeot
Three exceptional evenings will take place at the Château du Clos de Vougeot, where visitors will have the opportunity to taste the great wines of Burgundy before attending concerts in the large cellar. Joseph Calleja, Laetitia Grimaldi, Nina van Essen, among others, will delight the public during these memorable evenings.

Immersion at the Abbey of Saint-Vivant
On Tuesday June 25, the 9th century Abbey of Saint-Vivant will open its doors for a concert featuring Lisa Batiashvili, François Leleux and the Modigliani string quartet. Music lovers will also have the opportunity to enjoy a country picnic in the heart of the remains of this abbey.

Elegance at the Church of Saint-Romain
On Thursday June 27, the Church of Saint-Romain will be the setting for a concert dedicated to Debussy and Brahms, performed by Gautier Capuçon and Jean-Yves Thibaudet. The splendid architecture of this 16th century church will add a magical dimension to this musical evening.

Stopover in Meursault
On Friday June 28, the festival will travel to Meursault for a tasting in the gardens of the Château de Meursault, followed by a concert in the Meursault Church. This complete experience will combine music and wine in this charming village.

Majestic fence at the Château du Clos de Vougeot
On Sunday June 30, the grand closing concert will be orchestrated by the Orchester des Climats de Bourgogne, under the direction of Daniele Gatti, in the courtyard of the Château du Clos de Vougeot. World-renowned Hungarian pianist Sir András Schiff will perform works by Beethoven, providing audiences with an unforgettable musical experience.
