The day before this post-mortem anniversary, Laura Smet, the daughter of Johnny Hallyday, also spoke about the disappearance of her father. Fact France Info revealed this Friday, June 14, the surprising meeting of Laura Smet with Nelly, a big fan of her father Johnny, aged 73. A friendly and frank interview. In fact, when Nelly asked how Johnny Hallyday was dressed when he left, the singer’s daughter did not hesitate to respond, not without emotion. “He was dressed in a suit, he was very handsome. I’ll tell you something. I had never seen a dead person before (…), when I got home I said to myself: ‘but he’s not my father, he’s much smaller’. His soul was so big (…), but there, I saw a body that was much smaller than my father (…) It was clear that he had not suffered, his face was not tense at all ”, she confided.

The actress and singer then wanted to know if Nelly, one of her father’s biggest fans, had had the opportunity to go to his grave to pay her respects. The main interested party explained that it was not the desire that she lacked, but that she unfortunately did not have the means to go to Saint-Barthélemy. Laura Smet then revealed that she had not visited her father’s grave since his burial. “I didn’t know that he was going to be buried there (…) It’s a bit far to go see him,” she explained, visibly saddened by the situation. She concluded by saying she was comforted by telling herself that it must have been her father’s wish.
