Before experiencing his first musical successes, Pharrell Williams had to find a way to eat. Like many others before and after him, he went to knock on the door of McDonald’s. But as we will see, the artist was really, really not made for that!

From McDonald’s to the top charts
Fortunately for him, Pharrell Williams had other talents up his sleeve than that of devouring kilos of nuggets at McDonald’s. In 1992, he formed the Neptunes with Chad Hugo, a production duo that would make hip-hop history, before founding NERD in 1999.
A meteoric rise which has since propelled him to the rank of multi-millionaire superstar, and more recently artistic director for Louis Vuitton Homme. Enough to afford all the nuggets he wants, or even the McDonald’s that employed him, since Pharrell Williams’ fortune is estimated at some 250 million dollars.
